Insurance to suit you, and your farm


With a long and proud history of providing farm insurance (over 100 years and counting), WFI understands what you’re looking for when it comes to specialised farm insurance.

Farmers know that there are a lot of ups and downs to life on the land. As one of Australia’s leading rural insurers, WFI have always understood this, and shown unwavering support and assistance to their customers during the good times and the bad. With 150 local Area Managers across the country, they are committed to providing friendly face-to-face service and cover that suits the needs of your farm business.

WFI Insurance

And when they say personal service, they mean it. WFI Area Managers live and work in your community. Chances are you’ve already met them; in fact, you may have grown up with them. They’ll happily meet you at your home, workplace or farm for a friendly, professional chat about your insurance needs. And because they take time to listen and understand your business, they can discuss the most appropriate insurance options for you to choose from.

Eligible NSW Farmers members who take out a WFI insurance policy get access to a rebate on next year’s membership fee. To get the rebate, ensure your local WFI Area Manager has assigned your policy to the NSW Farmers Association Agency. The rebate amount will depend on your insurance policy premium.

The WFI Rural Plan is designed specifically for farmers with a range of covers:

  • Farm property damage
  • Farm general property
  • Farm loss of income
  • Farm legal liability
  • Farm machinery breakdown
  • Farm burglary and theft
  • Farm electronic equipment

Other insurance covers available include:

  • Crop
  • Livestock mortality
  • Business and trades
  • Home, car and landlord Insurance.

To find out more or how you can request an obligation-free insurance quote from WFI, speak with the friendly NSW Farmers team on (02) 9478 1042 or visit nswfarmers.org.au/wfi

WFI Insurance

Insurance products are issued by Insurance Australia Limited ABN 11 000 016 722 AFSL 227681 trading as WFI (WFI). NSW Farmers is an alliance partner of WFI and does not make any recommendations or provide an opinion about WFI’s products. If you take out a policy with WFI, NSW Farmers receives a commission from WFI of between 7.5% and 10% of the value of the premium payment (excluding taxes and charges). NSW Farmers returns 25% of this commission back to the members as a rebate on their next NSW Farmers membership renewal fees. To be eligible for the rebate, you must be a NSWFA financial Member. This will appear in your next renewal notice. This brochure doesn’t take in account your objectives, financial situation and needs. To see if a product is right for you, always consider the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and Target Market Determinations available from www.wfi.com.au. If you already have a WFI policy, you need to make sure that NSW Farmers is recorded as your referring agent to be eligible for the rebate. To register call Member Service Centre on 1300 794 000.
