HUGE HARVEST SLASHES HAYTOOLS RATES


While bumper crop predictions puts the focus on harvesting, farmers are snapping up 0% finance deals on haytools with rates slashed across New Holland’s whole hay range.

HUGE HAY FORECAST WITH THE LOWEST HAYTOOLS FINANCE RATES ON RECORD.

According to predictions, Australian agriculture gross value of production (GVP) could be set to surge to over $70 billion for the first time ever in 2022. In particular, crop production is forecast to grow by 7% to a record $39.7 billion, driven by strong prices for grain, cotton and sugar. With such a bumper season on the horizon, all the attention is understandably on harvesting. That could prove costly however, because now may be the best time to think about investing in your hay equipment if you want to save on your new hay machines and equipment.

With limited hay production, hay farmers have noticed that finance rates on haytools are at a record low currently. In fact, one of the leading hay tool manufacturers – New Holland Agriculture – has slashed finance rates to 0% on all products in their impressive hay tool lineup until 31 December. Including balers, rakes, tedders, mower-conditioners and windrowers.

New Holland’s National Sales Manager, David Gibson says, “Harvest machinery is in demand this season, but we know our customers are planning 2 or 3 seasons ahead. Many are using this prosperous period to prepare for an inevitable shift back to hay production. We’re responding with our most competitive haytools package yet.”

Hurry as what goes up, must come down. The Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences (ABARES) has pointed out that ours is one of the most variable agricultural environments and that we can’t expect the good seasons to continue forever. Prices are also expected to fall when overseas conditions improve. So, it only makes sense to prepare for next hay season now, with rates at record lows.

Farmers who want to outfit their operation with the best equipment should contact their local New Holland dealer before 31 December to take advantage.
