NSW Farmers has opened applications for its 2021 tertiary education scholarship programme with five scholarships worth $4000 each on offer.
Agriculture is a vibrant, global, and highly competitive industry that will need to attract and retain the best and brightest. NSW Farmers Association aims for excellence in the future workforce by awarding annual scholarships.
The Tertiary Scholarships demonstrate NSW Farmers’ commitment to members and the industry by recognising the value of education to the future of agriculture.
The scholarships were first awarded in 1993 to reward, promote and encourage excellence in tertiary studies from members’ families.
The programme is open to NSW Farmers members and their families. They are applicable to students enrolled in the second year of full time study at university, or first year of postgraduate study. First year TAFE and private Vocational Education College students
can also apply.
Last year five outstanding applicants were able to use the scholarship funds to help with their studies.
